Title: 「News]Tour Extension

Gin - January 31, 2006 11:42 PM (GMT)
For those among us who cannot get enough of every tidbit of news about YUI, I'll be translating (or attempting to :P ) the minor (and major) postings of YUI's information page on her website. Said page can be found here: YUI's Info Page

For about 95% of you, it will consist of nothing more than completely unintelligible scribblings in Japanese. If there is a person among us who can read this script as easily as he/she can eat, I will glady step down and let you take my place. :P

Anyway, I start off with the latest:

MTV Public Event! (1/30/2006)

On Tuesday, February 21, there will be a Live YUI performance and recording on MTV Japan's popular primetime program "M Size". It will be taking place at Harajuku's "café STUDIO", and they are now accepting applications for tickets. To get tickets, or ask for one, one must use his/her cellphone to access "MTV Mobile". All questions about the event must go there also.

The cutoff date for applications is the 12th of February.

The location will be the "café STUDIO" in Harajuku, Tokyo.

YUI On "Rocks on TV"

This entry is a little easier to understand. Tokyo's MV was featured on this program. It's about 10 minutes or so into the program, which I believe has something to do with...music. Sorry, they talk too fast and mumble too much. It only supports Internet Explorer, btw. Sorry Mozilla users. :( Click on the latest program, the one for January 29th.

Rocks on TV

Awesome Gin!

Hmm...February 21 is the day before the release of the album.

Gin - February 1, 2006 01:52 AM (GMT)
Hmm, I didn't realize that until now. Coincidence? I think not. Let's hope YUI's promotions get her album into the Top 5. She's gotten into the Top 10 several times, but I think it's time she reached that mark. :)

Wow! YUI on TV, I can't wait if someone grab it and upload it here!

I'm extremely overwhelmed by all those japanesse language.

Sony Music Call (2/1/2006)

This entry is apparently about a service called "Sony Music Call". It's apparently a keitai service, like the entry below. I don't fully understand it, but YUI seems to be participating in it. Which is always good. ^_^

Album "Medley" Now Open! (2/1/2006)

This is an entry for those fortunate to have Japanese keitai (Japanese cellphones...which can do anything under the sun)! With only 21 days left until the release of "From Me To You," YUI's website has opened up a melody download feature! Apparently, users can download some Album melodies to their keitai starting today!

Japanese-text Instructions (Unless you can read Japanese, do not go here. You will die. :P )

New Wesbite Layout and Feature! (2/1/2006)

YUI-san's forth single, Tokyo, has been released, and now we await her upcoming debut album "From Me to You", to be released on February 22nd! The Website has gotten a facelift with a layout a la "From Me To You." In addition, we've got a new feature, called "Staff Report!" Apparently this is the blog of YUI's staff. Go check it out!

Translated "Staff Report" is here 'Twill be updated frequently.

Merry-Go-Round Full Chorus Sample! (2/6/2006)

This doesn't really apply to us non-Japanese fans, but still:

Once again, the album releases on the 22nd. However, just before that, we're gonna let you sample the full chorus of "Merry-Go-Round"! You'll have to register with YUI's Mail Service to download the sample, and the number of people allowed to register for this special sample will be limited. The sampling will be downloadable on the 16th at midnight, and will continue to be for 24 hours.

YUI in the Asahi Shimbun! (2/12/2006)

This Monday, YUI will have a BIG appearance in the Asahi Shimbun Newspaper, one of the biggest in Japan! Congrats!

This'll definitely help YUI out! ^_^

wow it's only 3800 Yen?? That's actually really cheap. I remembered I once payed $200CAN for some Kelly Chen concert I went to.
