P/S: and somebody please check if I made a mistake too :swt
lets learn together guys!! :biggrin

Looks good so far, I'll look over the rest when I get time but here a few
additions/corrections.
-------------
With the O, it is very formal.
Usually with double oo sounds you either write ou or ō
Ohayou
Sayounara
Youkoso
Douzo
Arigatou
daijoubu
sou
Also some of the points are a mix between formal/informal so it might help to classify each.

Correction:
I miss you. Anata ga inakute sabishimasu.
QUOTE (nihongo.3yen.com)
    Method 2: Asking a native speaker

    You) I want to say, “I miss you,” to my girlfriend. How do I say that?

    Native Speaker) Well, we don’t really say “I miss you,” in Japanese. We usually just say we’re lonely or “I want to meet you”.

    Y) Oh, how do you say that?

    N) “Lonely” is 「さびしい」 or 「さみしい」. “Wanting to meet” is 「会いたい」.

    Y) Great, can you write the kanji for me?

    N) Sure.

Correction:
Girl = onna no ko
Boy = otoko no ko

Correction:
I like you anata ga suki desu
I dislike you watashi wa anata ga kirai desu
I love you aishite iru yo
I love you, too watashi mo anata wo aishite imasu

In most cases suki is enough for 'I love you', aishiete iru is quite strong and I do not recommend using it.. Also kirai is quite strong, suki janai is probably better...

Addition: un = yes, u~n = no

just would like to add some.

I'm hungry = 'onaka ga suite imasu' (lit. stomach is empty) 'hara ga hetta' (lit. abdomen is decreased in size)

the other variant of 'nine' is 'ku', just like the 'four' and the 'seven' and they are not always interchangable.

xxrayxx - June 6, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Adding for those going Japan here are some numerals that u might want to know.

100 -> hyaku ,200-> ni-hyaku (and so on)
1,000 -> Sen ,2000-> ni-sen(and so on)
10,000-> ichi-man
100,000->ju-man
1,000,000->hyaku-man
10,000,000->sen-man
100,000,000->ichi-oku

ketsuko - June 7, 2007 06:52 AM (GMT)
sory oot for a while: Del, are you del from channel-ai too??
