Since alot of fellow Malaysians here wondering whether there's any media reporting about our dear YUI, technically there is one from Sin Chew (local chinese paper), Nov 16th.



If you can read chinese, they are talking about the drama version, but they put picures off both drama and movie version. Which is fine.

BUT THEY MESSED UP BETWEEN OUR DEAR YUI AND THE SAWAJIRI ERIKA!!!! :damnpc

YUI is neither Sawajiri Erika nor Tachibana Asami (another character in the drama) okay???? And Tsukamoto Takashi is not Kudo Ryohei either zzz......... :huhuhu been a loyal reader for the past 10+ years and they did this to our dear YUI.......

EDIT: I've already accepted the fact, so it's cool now haha :P

She also messed up the age also .. None of them are 18 ..

YUI is 100% cuter then her and thats super true.

GV made the same mistake on the web too.

in the cast section. instead of YUI they wrote koaru amane.
which is the character's name.

Yeah. I read about it too in the entertainment section and got a shock. My first thought was why Erika Sawajiri and YUI were together in the article. Not to mention, the captions were wrong too. YUI's picture but written as Erika Sawajiri. I wonder what the editors were doing. How could they afford to do such a mistake? It saddens me after reading about the article. YUI's name and the movie version of Taiyou no Uta weren't even mentioned. :(.

You mean the entertainment section of Sin Chew Daily? Nope. I read it everyday but so far there hasn't been any news about Taiyou no Uta movie version. If it's showing in Malaysia, I'd be 100% sure to watch it. Maybe we can have a gathering to watch it together. ;)

Yea we can do YUI Lovers gathering in Malaysia lol. I plan to watch at least twice haha.

No problem for me. Just that we need to set a date, time and venue. Oh yeah, hopefully there are enough Malaysians here (I guess so, judging from the welcome replies I got). ;)

on the contrary, sin chew's branch in pj is so near my house it's a 5mins walk, maybe i should go and tell them they got all the information wrong, then again, it's too late now

i asked cathay, the film distributor about filming in malaysia, as i i can always pop acrosss to city square to watch, but sadly...

i just don't get why the malaysian cinemas don't show many japanese movies. although they did show the death note films, but seems to me like they show korean movies more than the japanese ones. .
