I should be finishing up my Intercultural Communication project, but I needed to take a break so I'm visiting YUI-Lover. Well, after lurking through the forums for a while I thought that this forum would be much better if it was a vBulletin board rather than an InvisionFree one (looks, features, control, etc.). Now, I wouldn't want to start a new YUI forum and attempt to take away members from this board since this is the original YUI boards so I have a offer to the admins here.
Basically I have been thinking purchasing a domain to host videos and such, but I am willing to use that to host a new YUI-Lover forum. Though we won't be able to move existing threads and members to the new host, it will remain the same forum rather than a new, competing YUI board. Reason being that I enjoy these boards and the members that are a part of it, but I feel that it is time to upgrade. I will set up and pay for everything (meaning I'll be a new admin) but I'll cooperate with the current admins in making decisions about things.
Maybe I'm just saying this out of boredom but hopefully one of the admins will consider my offer :flower

But actually I'm still in a progress of upgrading this forum. We're going to have our very first anniversary on 26th December and would like to have many improvement as we can. :)
About the vBulettin, I kinda enjoy invisionfree board more and I'm very well used to it. So, I'll stick with this one. Beside, moving to another hoster would likely to change everything here. I want to leave it as it be. :)

I like invision power board more than vbulletin.. If u want to upgrade it is easy with invision I think.. hehe
i agree with antukecik's opinion, en i hope this forum become the best Forum for YUI LOVER, i'll help as much as i can do (as my role) to make this forum better en better
Well it was because I could've used a friend's vBulletin license since he doesn't host his forums anymore and doesn't care about it. Upgrading from InvisionFree to IPB seems expensive, it's $150 for a standard 6 months license. Having them host it will cost more money and you don't get much space ($10 per month for 100MB I believe).
I'm fine with the admin's decision though, I await their upgrade :toast
