Well, this anime called BLEACH!

Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (Soul Reaper or, literally, "death god") named Rukia Kuchiki, who runs into him one day while searching for a hollow (an evil spirit). During the ensuing confrontation with the spirit, she is wounded and forced to transfer virtually all of her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on wayward souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society.

The early parts of the story focus mainly on the characters and their past, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. However, as events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called Soul Society.

yes, BLEACH has provided lotsa entertainment with all its action and storyline, something that hasnt quite happened in a while. i onli hope they finish this filler arc so that we can proceed to the arrancar arc :P

Alot of people from this fansite know bleach because it is bleach that made yui famous outside japan ....

yea... but i kinda like this arc... well... maybe not... but least its a proper arc... lol... unlike a certain anime we all know...

I think BLEACH filler isn't bad, not like other anime, especialy Naruto. (Sorry Naruto's fans)
Overall, BLEACH is one of best manga that still run at Japan.

The Bounto filler arc "sort of" ended at episode 108. Episode 109 should be recap and summary of the Bounto arc, like what happened 40+ episodes ago for the Soul Society arc.

3 more weeks to manga arc!

i too got 2 know yui from BLEACH! Ahem... apart from loving yui>> CALLING ALL ICHIRUKI FANS!! SHOW SOME SUPPORT HERE IN THIS FORUM!!!!! lol... no offense to ichihime ppl XDXDXD

yep... but kinda disappointing way to end... kairya with all his jyoukaishou power... just turned to dust like that after a clash with ichigo... oh well...

hopefully it gets back to the actual story... time to see how aizen and gang has changed...

actually i kinda like the fillers. sad ending though..

Yup, the animation in the current opening and closing themes are from the Bleach movie. The movie title is "Bleach: Memories of Nobody" and opened in Japan on 16th Dec 206. So the timing explains the recent new animation for the themes.

Hopefully we can continue to hear YUI's "Rolling star" in the manga arc's opening themes. The previous 4 opening songs all lasted an average of 25 episodes.

woots just got the manga today.. the anime is really lagging badly behind, but i wont spoil anything for ya guys..

I heard Yui for the first time in Bleach too! Bleach is one of my favourite animes...I love it!

And I just couldn't wait for the Bount fillers to end... it was not that bad, but I read the manga and I just couldn't wait to see the new characters in the anime! *.*

Oh, and I wonder what they're going to do with Ririn, Nova and Cloud... they're not in the manga, so I thought they'd leave before the bount arc ended...but they're still there o.O

i believe bleach anime is now going back on track with the manga now rite?

Bleach has returned to the manga arc at Episode 110. The 1st Vaizard has appeared and the rest.... you all can watch to find out for yourself, no more spoilers.

Yeahhh i'm so happy that Bleach is back to the real storyline. The damn Naruto anime team shld follow them huh.

But the manga is only ahead by around 60 chapters at the moment. The first 60 or so anime episodes already accounted for the first 182/183 chapters. So there is only enough for around 20 more non-filler anime episodes....

Yupz I've started watching bleach again after a year's break or so..

February 15th Naruto will be back to normal! \o/
