BoA was one of the first asian singers i heard, so i have to thank her for that i discovered alot of great music

I think that she is a very good & talented artist, and i like most of her albums, even if i like the older ones the most. I really don´t think that her songs " Make a Secret" & " Dakishimeru", but i think that her latest " Everlasting" was better then those.

Hopefully, she continues to produce great music :D

Good times...BoA was the first foreign artist I listened to...From there it just kinda ballooned out to the point where I'm going to have to cut into my DVD-R's to free up some HDD space...and I'm running almost a TB...

I have heard of Soundscape preview from her upcoming Everlasting single. I like it the most among all her new songs.

I know...I wasn't that big a fan of Dakishimeru when it came out, but I loved Before You Said Goodbye To Me...The title track has grown on me, but I'm still kinda dumbstruck as to why they left the b-side out...

Then again, futile as it may seem, I was kinda hoping to see Konoyo no Shiroshi make the cut as well...but I suppose I should be content with it on B.o.S.

Dakishimeru is a solid enough song. I know it's very shocking to many fans how much BoA has changed, but I was EXPECTING this all along! :o I knew BoA would change drastically once she become older, it's just natural I guess.

The Everlasting MV is rather good. The song seems lovely even though it is sad. :(

Ty: I can't say I wasn't expecting her to shock fans with dakishimeru...And I wasn't even referring to the video...The song just didn't strike me as that great at first...It took some time to grow on me...I guess the vocals at the beginning threw me off...but once I listened to it a few times, I began to like it more...jus took a lil bit of getting used to

I'm really glad she decided to shrug off the little girl image...it's cute and all, but it can't last forever...she has to grow up...it might've been a bit sudden, but definitely was a good thing...

then again, i was expecting everlasting to come out when dakishimeru did...cause rumors were floating about of a new ballad for christmas...*shrugs*

Dakishimeru was a hit with me from the start! I loved the upbeat jazzy beat! As for BoA's vocals, they we kinda so-so, and the whole song is kinda...cheesy. The MV wasn't great either. :( What The Crap Avex? <_<

It seems none of the Japanese Singles have been huge hits lately. Do The Motion was a great song on it's own, and both b-sides (yes, TWO b-sides!), were good as well! With U was a nice song, but Kimi no Tonari De was wonderful! :wub: (IMO)

make a secret was a little of a let down. I enjoyed the song, but it wasn't someting truely great. The b-side, LONG TIME NO SEE, was average at best. :huh: The MV for make a secret was very well done though! :D(IMO)

Dakishimeru was another average song, and Single. The b-side, Before You Said Goodbye To Me, I actually liked MORE than Dakishimeru! :)

Everlasting was the latest Single, and I cannot say it's bad at ALL! The song, the MV, and the b-sides (soundscape, People say...) were al very good! (IMO) This Single marked the 1st to be released in both Japan and Korea for MANY years, and even included a Classical version of Everlasting! How nice! ^_^


Yes, I agree about her cute "Jumping BoA" image. It was wonderful for the longest time but, she's a woman now, it's time to blossum into a beautiful flower! I think BoA did well enough in the rough transition from girl to women! It was a little shocking, but us real fans were easy to adapt! :wub: Who can deny BoA's beauty?

Okay...skipping my rant on BYSGTM...Ty, your opinion of the singles is pretty much exactly the same as mine, aside from Dakishimeru...

Kinda looking forward to her next single, because I'm kind of wondering what direction she's going to take...We know now that she's willing to turn a few heads and surprise some people...I just hope she doesn't overcompensate on this transition...Drastic changes are good, as long as they are controlled...

And Outgrow is pretty good...It's not the best I've ever heard, but it definitely gets an above average rating from me...
