Hey does anyone have some good cantonese pop, or cantonese singers? Im trying to learn cantonese so it would be nice to have some music to help me get into it.

well im canto myself, as is my family and they speak fluent. im just looking for song recomendations to help me get into it. cuz since ive been listening to a ton of japanese music, my interest in learning japanese grew. but at the moment i would like to learn cantonese so im looking for some catchy canto singers/groups/bands ect.

I think YUI's songs are quite different from most HK singer's style... I was quite surprised to hear a chinese version ...

I've always loved Faye Wong, ok, she's not very active nowadays, but her songs are classic.

Cpop is the biggest love of my life!!! Hahaha. Even more than YUI, sad to say :( But I can justify, because I hope to be a Cpop singer in future. So I must know my market from the very start, yea? :lol:

Some of Fann Wong's songs are really good to sing! But sad to say, her voice is a little too weak. I like her, nonetheless.

That's true, but she has a very interesting personality and her music is very soothing and easy to listen to. So I don't really care about that. ^^
