Title: Where Is The Best Place To Get Her Single
Description: ...

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - January 8, 2006 11:59 AM (GMT)
yea, i just wanted to know where to get it, online or well, in Indonesia? or Malaysia? or Singapore??

AditZ - January 8, 2006 04:05 PM (GMT)
I live in Indonesia, so no single of her. No overseas version. I ordered it from yesasia, if you're living in Indonesia, you can contact me via PM. I can help you with that.

Ty_Sylicus - January 9, 2006 02:57 AM (GMT)
I am in America, so I have to order on YA as well. :(

(I miss buying CD's in Korean Music shops! -_-)

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - January 9, 2006 05:41 AM (GMT)
hm, im from malaysia, its quite expensive from cdjapan, how's it in yesasia?

AditZ - January 9, 2006 09:51 AM (GMT)
In yesasia, you needs to use US$ currency. Its just a bit expensive, but its worth of it. Its safety ordering by yesasia, and its originality is no doubt. They're wellknown for their good repute.
Don't worry ordering by yesasia. :)

www.yesasia.com

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - January 9, 2006 10:16 AM (GMT)
the price in cdjapan is the same as in yesasia..-_-"

AditZ - January 9, 2006 10:20 AM (GMT)
LOL yea! :)

But at least your CD safety and originality were guaranteed.

aricebox - January 16, 2006 03:55 AM (GMT)
o.o" oh crap...no one mentioned Play asia...DOES IT SUCK OR SOMETHING? T^T...kuz i ordered Tokyo from them, its not too late to cancel it...so if they have bad rep or something id appreciate it if someone cleared it up for me xdd im confused

AditZ - January 16, 2006 07:11 AM (GMT)
I never heard of that name before, just make sure about their repute and popularity. Yesasia repute is well known and trustable. You'll not go wrong with them. I suggest Yesasia to buy something online.

flamecaster - January 19, 2006 07:23 AM (GMT)
im in US and cdjapan tends to be more expensive because of the shipping price .... so i usually use yesasia ... eventho the price is more expensive but the shipping price is cheaper and theres free shipping also its fast ....

but i heard that in SE asia region if u use yesasia it takes a while to get ur item while if u use cdjapan its fast ...

also cdjapan packaging is a lot better cos they use a box ... while yesasia only use bubble wrapping eventho ive never get any problem with the item but ive heard some people got cracked cd cases

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - January 19, 2006 08:27 AM (GMT)
haha, actually if you're living in asia, the price of the cd+shipping is the same in cdjapan and yesasia, well, if cd japan is using boxes, why not go with them?

AditZ - January 19, 2006 01:32 PM (GMT)
I prefer to stick with yesasia and cdjapan got my second prior. But I think I never had a broken item. All were good. :)

aricebox - February 5, 2006 01:30 AM (GMT)
well, a few posts back i was worried about the quality of PlayAsia, but i got my Tokyo single a few days ago
basically i ordered on the day it was released and got the cheapest shipping option offered and it shipped in 11 days and came in a nice box with styrofoam[spelling?] around it to prevent any cracks. It's safe to say Playasia is a pretty reliable site :D

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 5, 2006 02:43 AM (GMT)
oh great, and now u tell me, is the price somehow cheaper or anything?

i ordered all of YUI singles and her album for yesasia, cost me close to 100 US Dollars, not so sure, cause i ordered some other stuff as well

and the split shipping was 14 US Dollars, OMG

aricebox - February 5, 2006 03:06 AM (GMT)
><...well...when i ordered her TOKYO single, the total was 17 dollars [ after shipping and everything ] CANADIAN, so...im not quite sure how much that is in USD =/...sorry...

viper92583 - February 5, 2006 03:14 AM (GMT)
17 canadian? well, i'm just taking a stab...but i think (last i checked) it was something like 1.40 CA to 1 USD...so I'm guessing that rounds out to a lil over 12 bucks...

maybe a lil cheaper

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 5, 2006 09:56 AM (GMT)
each single is 11.99 USD in yesasia :o , but still, split shipping, my god

ZiN - February 9, 2006 12:27 AM (GMT)
If you're from Malaysia I think you can try searching Tower Records in KL Plaza or MV... They might have it though chances are slim...

*edit* I suddenly thought of places where you can most likely find Japanese CDs in KL... meaning chances of finding YUI's singles or album... Try look for it in Kota Raya or "Sing Ma" (the one next to Kota Raya) as that two places are famous for selling Japanese CDs. I got my GTO and Initial D anime from there too :)

monochrome - February 9, 2006 07:37 AM (GMT)
I am from Malaysia too. I heard my friend said he found her single in KL.

viper92583 - February 9, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
stupid question...does anyone know where to find her indie single? i'm searching for it, and have come up empty at each and every turn...if anyone knows, post here or PM me...

(really really tried looking for this EVERYWHERE, and came up with bupkus...maybe someone else will have better luck?)

oh god...i jus used bupkus...wow...now i really need to sleep...got 7 hours till i have to be up :D

REALLY???? Because she havent release her album yet and is rare that cd shops in malaysia selling singles, except those big names like ayumi, utada. Yea Kota Raya is the best place to buy japanese stuff, cds animes, dramas and they import some jpanese cds too which cost around RM 100, i used to go there alot to buy japanese dramas......

Still i doubt that you can find any YUI singles in Malaysia, if thats true, i can save alot of $$$, which is good :P Tell me the place if you guys found it =D

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 9, 2006 01:52 PM (GMT)
kota raya, the first thing when i come back from australia!!

thanks fellow malaysians....  :D :D

i thought you mean RM 20 haha, just checked their website, well they only have imported version, most of the cds sold at malaysia are overseas version, thats why alot cheaper, guess ill had to buy it online......

If cannot find YUI's singles even in taiwan, that means nearly immpossible to find it at malaysia....most of the overseas version at malaysia are made in taiwan and singapore, thats why some albums have chinese subbed lyrics.....(which is good) :P

but then, i still will go check it at tower records, or ask my aunt (she owns a cd shop, trying to advertise haha, but her shop at seremban =/)

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 18, 2006 02:37 PM (GMT)
great, ask your aunt really nicely...^_^

i recieved her singles from yesasia already, i gotta say, NICE, so i'd encourage u to get it from yesasia if u cant find it anywhere in malaysia

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 19, 2006 12:21 AM (GMT)
i guess we do have to sacrifice for some good music.. :(

go on looking!! yay!

atheon - February 19, 2006 03:01 PM (GMT)
Just came back to Sg. Wang, nobody tells me that the Tower Records at KL Plaza under renovation, went there for nothing zzzzzzzz......but, i went to the other Tower Records at Lot 10, no YUI's stuff. Got a lot of japanese CDs though, but those newer ones such as (miss)understood and Love cook still unavailable......

on the other hand, went to 3 MNG stores still couldnt find a decent jacket......haih.....next stop will be at singapore :P

ItIsHerWhoDidIt - February 19, 2006 10:41 PM (GMT)
lol, they dont even have love cook? jokers, i got my copy of Love Cook in taiwan last year..on december

atheon - March 1, 2006 10:40 AM (GMT)
Went to HMV at Singapore last week, their cds are freaking expensive~!!!! But they have alot of japanese cds, well i suggest buy it online better.......imported cds cost around $79 which is roughly USD 35-40

HOWEVER, no YUI's singles or album, i checked twice under the 'Y' section haha.....

Risa - March 1, 2006 11:10 AM (GMT)
I can't order from Yesasia :'( ;-; ;-; ;-;
So unfair!!! Maybe.. my friend can order something for me :)

atheon - March 5, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
Well dunno whether this is the place to ask, since i'm lazy to create a new thread....

I got 'from me to you' on Mac 2nd from yesasia, however the cd is damaged, well actually a small fragment at the tip of the cover (upper right corner) broke and i think its gonna fall out soon <_< I contacted customer service and asked for replacement, and they replied this:

Please kindly send the defective item, with the return merchandise authorization number (RMA) xxxx-xxxxxxx written on the parcel, to the following address:

YesAsia.com (Hong Kong) Limited
(Attn.: Customer Service Department)
Block A & B, 3/F., Wui Wah Building,
1035 Yee Kuk West Street,
Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon,
Hong Kong

Upon receipt of your returning parcel, we will arrange shipping you a replacement and reimburse the postage cost for the return in the form of YesAsia Credit. Please note that we will only bear the cost if the package is sent via regular air mail. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I'm not really familiar with mailing stuff, does this means that i just go to the post office and tell them i wanna send my package via regular air mail and write the RMA on the package? Should i pay anything first??? Do i have to insert the receipt in the package?

Hope you guys can help me

AditZ - March 6, 2006 11:29 AM (GMT)
Actually I never have experience like this but I trust Yesasia, no doubt. I think you should pay for the airmail first. I dunno how to send things in your country but I guess maybe you should come to the post office and ask for more information. About the receipt, it won't wrong if you have a copy of that. Just to be sure that anythings fine.

atheon - March 6, 2006 11:55 AM (GMT)
Tommorow i'll go to post office and ask the staffs there......i trust yesasia but not our country's mail service......=/ our pos laju = post lambat :ph43r: since they only accept standard air mail guess i had to pray that the package arrives on time.

btw, the receipt is the shipment list they insert in the package right? Think i'll send it back together with the cd, with many many layers of those buble sheets......

AditZ - March 6, 2006 12:02 PM (GMT)
Are you Indonesian too? I thought you're malay.

Indonesian mailing system is sucks too. My latest CD, Younha - My Lover was damaged by them. Not yesasia. I'm sure of this because my friend who ordered me the CD got the CD in perfect condition and he sent me through post office and is damaged. There's a posibility for that. If you're Indonesian, try to use TIKI. I think its safer though expensive.

You SHOULD do that! :)
