so what are your thoughts about the movie, for those who have seen?
interesting how *spoilers* Barbossa returns at the last bit? that explains why his monkey stopped screeching halfway when the crew first arrived at the witch doctor's house.

just watched it. before watching it, i was a bit anxious because of all the hype it received as a sequel. i really enjoyed the 1st movie because it was not hyped up before the release.

my fears/anxiety were quickly dashed the moment.......

... Jack Sparrow (CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow!!) blasted the annoying pecking bird! :lol:

Man, this movie was sooo good, it felt sooo bad that I have to wait a whole year for the next sequel. A whole load of questions were left unanswered like:

- where the heck has Jack & the Black Pearl gone to?!
- where the heck did Barbossa come from?!
- how the heck will the evil dude (sorry, forgot his name) use Davey Jones' heart to his advantage?!
.. and the most important question..
- who will Elizabeth end up with - Will or Jack?

i think elizabeth kissing jack sparrow was part of her ploy, because he lied to her a number of times. probably she grew sick of it but you could tell she felt very guilty at the end.

yeah that movie was so awesome. haha for you kingdom hearts II fans out there this will be a *SPOILER* for the game too if you did not unlock the secret ending.

dang i wonder how they are going to use pirates II and III in kingdom hearts III lol. the pirates chapter must be crazy then.

anyways about pirates II i thought that ending was so awesome, but this movie was missing something that pirates 1 had which made it great. i can't believe pirates is going to be a trilogy... maybe more than that. i hope the last or third one will be really good like how Lord of the rings 3 was.

well... can't wait for one more year. so thats why they finished filming pirates II like a long time ago because they were getting the third one ready and they put in editing and music.

speaking of the music in pirates... does anybody have the original version of the song He's a Pirate used in the pirates movie. I only have the one from the kingdom hearts II OST, but that version is nowhere as good as the movie version.

I thought this movie was great!! Although, they focused more with Will and Elizabeth. Jack Sparrow was in his own little world. lol The kiss between Elizabeth and Jack was a surprise though! lol MY POOR ORLANDO BLOOM *HUGS* :huhuhu :huhuhu I love the AMAZING CG, action scenes, and costumes in this series. Oh yeah I enjoyed the new casts added to the film such as the infamous Davey Jones and Bootystrap Bill Turner(Will's father in the movie).

Question&Spoiler!!: What is that creature in the ending that Jack was fighting with?

For some reason I had a flash back of a fighting sequence from Final Fantasy X. LOL that one scene in the movie reminded me of the monster from that game. Hmm, I dunno. haha

Well Jack fought the Kraken, which is in like almost every single RPG possible besides Baten Kaitos where there is no ocean that exists and instead there are floating islands lol.

Anyways um... in Final Fantasy X... I haven't played that game in ages and I didn't really like it that much, but I think you're talking about Sin, that flying whale thing lol. Or maybe you're thinking about that fish that almost swallows Tidus in the begginning. w/e
