i'm still trying to figure it out exactly... :swt in the song YUI's voice overpowers the chords most of the time so its hard to tell, esp. when the chords sound alike :huhuhu

i know so far that the guitar is tuned half a step down like in tokyo... i.e. the E string becomes E flat (aka D#).

also, it centers around the D, G, A, C and Bm chords, with a few variations in between...

and i have the intro, i'll tab it:

In "Taiyou no Uta", the first verse and I think part of the first chorus is acoustic.. I could send you the mp3 if you would like? Maybe the chords will be easier to figure out ^^;

hmmm...i think there are 2 versions of SKYLINE? i just checked out youtube and theres a taiyou no uta 'skyline' video...and i noticed that the taiyou no uta version and the original version, the chords are played differently. does anyone know where i can find the taiyou no uta skyline mp3 version? the sound quality on youtube does no justice. i think ill post the taiyou no uta skyline tabs since it is more acoustic oriented.

jojo- yeah, the intro is a bit fast. but just keep practicing. first start off slow, and as you start to get more comfortable try to speed the pace little by little. also use up-picks, that will make things easier B)

About the Skyline acoustic version, you can request it on the YUI media section^^ Skyline acoustic was only for the movie, and I think it's on Taiyou no Uta Sountrack. That version could help alot^^

Yeah, they're pretty good, but not perfect. It's not in the original key (and that's what bugs me about the site.. it sometimes has songs that aren't in the original key).

I think this will be on my and my guitar/voice teacher's list of things to figure out XD

:blush well a few people said they heard the wrong chords in the test i did, so im not sure... i know there are a couple of chords that im not getting right because... i wish there was a pure acoustic version T_T ah well.

The acoustic is the SAME THING except you just strum in the beginning instead of playing the intro.

You play like a Dsus then hammer on to a D quickly.
