No, the previous links can still be used. Feel free to use any of them. I myself still use the invisionfree.com link..

The new link is better to promote this site though..easier to remember..

makeblue - September 8, 2006 06:49 AM (GMT)

So, we have 3 links to get to this forum

http://z14.invisionfree.com/YUI_Lover/index.php

yuilover.firez.org

www.yui-lover.com

kh7yusuke - May 13, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
wow..

how'd you do that...?

btw..mine's been bookmarked...so it's ok..

Hanai - May 16, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
I can't use bookmarks in here.
Yeah cause i surf the internet in cyber.
And it has deep freeze. Just reboot the setting is change to default.

Dagorath - May 23, 2007 07:02 AM (GMT)
Hmm, I think YUI-Lover.com is easiest to remember :)

kh7yusuke - May 26, 2007 09:23 AM (GMT)
yeah...obviously...

cause the url consists of the actual name of the forum...

Fandan - June 4, 2007 09:51 AM (GMT)
There's a problem with "remember me" feature when using yui-lover.com url. It always asks me for a login each time. If I use s14.invision, it keeps me logged in.

kh7yusuke - June 13, 2007 01:04 PM (GMT)
right now my problem is...when i visit yui lover...

it always asks me to log in..i dunno what's the problem..

lightknight49 - June 30, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
wow awesome nice we got three link for YUI lover site forum that really nice thank for sharing and I will Remember   :)

Riyu October3 - July 6, 2007 09:56 AM (GMT)

s0l1dsn8k3 - August 6, 2007 07:45 AM (GMT)
Reset has made some board settings and now "yui-lover.com" should work for the entire forum now. (won't change to z14.invisionfree.com, although it will still work with forum).

Reset also added a Quick Login at the top of the page.

The forum's Width is also expanded (from 800px to 1024px). I suggested this to Reset as I think most people now should have decent monitors and use at least 1024x768 resolution. The extra width may make a better read and the size would allow two small images per line.

Please give your opinion regarding this width change whether you like the old width or this new size. If you guys prefer the old width, Reset can change it back.

Saustic - August 6, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
So that's why yui-lover.com immediately worked when I tried it out a few hours ago. o_O It's weird because before this when I'm using public computers I usually just google for "yui lover" and the invision URL would come up first, but now there's yui-lover.com in one of the first results. Thanks, this will make my life much easier.

It'd take time to get used to the current forum's width because now I have to scroll my eyes pretty much from left to right to read posts, haha. I think the old one is better, and need not be changed, since it's easier to read when the width is smaller.

Just a suggestion, but how about changing the forum's font to be a bit larger?

[Edit] - 9th August 07

Hah, took a while for me to get used to the forum's width. Now it looks perfectly fine (the layout seems a little neat this way), and goes well with the larger font size. Thanks Reset. :biggrin

And I noticed you added quite a few features such as the spellcheck.net. I'm not sure how this is done when it comes to invision boards, but is it possible here to integrate it to the forum so it automatically checks your spelling? (this doesn't really apply to Firefox users since there's already an integrated spell checker)

There's a "html { overflow-x: auto; overflow-y: auto; }" showing at the top of the page. Both in FF and IE.

There IS a difference.. this domain name is neater n more professional... easier to remember.. dun need use search engine to find it anymore.. i'm sure someone paid for the domain? anyway its good.. i appreciate it

i think i like the new width

cherii - August 12, 2007 12:07 PM (GMT)
Truthfully, at first I was kind of annoyed by the changed, but now I'm just so used to the changes that it would be weird to have them all changed back.

@eonridr: I bookmarked the forums, so I don't need to google YUI-Lover...and sadly enough, I know the url (actual url) anyways. So...that doesn't really apply to me. However, it'll definitely give new fans more chance of finding the forums, which is always a plus. ^^

angela100290 - August 12, 2007 12:52 PM (GMT)
wow..actually, at first, i don't know that there is a new url..i just typed yui-lover on the screen and poof..the forum came out..at least, it is easier to remember.. :lalala

Hi Someone said on YL that this site has been hacked by someone else. They also said this site would be force to be shut down isn't it true?

s0l1dsn8k3 - March 28, 2008 04:16 PM (GMT)
^ well not YUI Lover hacked specifically. It was invisionfree that was hacked, which in turn, potentially affected all the free forums hosted by it.

I don't think they will force to shut down invisionfree. But I have heard that the people who host invisionfree is now testing a few version of the free forum and any invisionfree users can choose to migrate to the new one when they finish.
