Are there usually anything different between the HK DVDs and JP DVDs? Like in box art, quality of video, or extras? Btw, i'm going to buy the making of the dvd on my next purchase on Yesasia XD.

blue cat - June 11, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
Ah, that's great news for fans living in other Asian countries!!! :)

But I'm not that surprised since I know other drama films like "Sekachuu" and "Ima, ai ni yukimasu" were released in other countries other than Japan. :D

Reset - June 12, 2006 08:25 AM (GMT)
um.. usually take 6 months for movie release to DVD :P

mono - June 12, 2006 11:31 AM (GMT)
The newspaper hasn't mentioned exactly which countries will show the film....Sorry
But if there is further information,I will report to all of you at once^^

In HK, it will be distributed by Lark Films Distribution Ltd.(A company which distributes foreign films).
Usual practice in HK for sreleasing a foreign film is making the film into two versions, one dubbed into Cantonese and one is the original Japanese.
I of coz will choose the original one^^
Usually VCD/DVD will be published three months after the release of the film.
I guess the film will release 1~2 months after the release in Japan.

Yesterday I listened a radio programme which has mentioned the release of "Taiyou no Uta" in HK^^It also played "LIFE"^^

Hope all the members of YUI-Lovers can see the film

im sure Taiyou no Uta has a chance at coming out in the japantowns or chinatowns of my city and maybe even neighboring cities since they often release international (eastern) things. but i know of only one japantown nearby and i hear it possibly may close down! :scare *pray pray* "kamisama HELP!" ...sigh, its not exactly a laughing matter

mono - June 18, 2006 05:36 AM (GMT)
