AditZ - June 2, 2006 09:46 AM (GMT)
Thats what I have to figure out. I'm having the same prob using Japanese, but I can copy paste the Japanese language to the forum tought.

I guess its should be our own PC that don't have the plug-in. blue cat and Gin seems to know about this a lot. Why don't ask them? :)

yup, the East Asian Languages must be installed in your PC. so you can read and write in Katakana for example.
it's in your WinXP CD, and it's easy to instal.
sowwy if i make a mistake...

No, that's not it
For example for YUI-net I copy the Japanese there and paste here will become like this
今回写真を撮れるような感じじゃなかったので・・・
ごめんなさい!!でも、すごく楽しかったですよ〜!

And when I paste it no problem.
but after I submit the message or perview it become grabage.

What I normally do is have an actual program that will allow you to type out Japanese/Korean/Chinese, and I have no problems with that at all, unless the website/program does not allow characters because it likes to be mean to me...(Photoshop...=___=;; )

Try downloading the NJStar communicator and see what happens

I dunno if this is will be working, but you could give it a try:

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Detail > Setting > Add > choose Japan then. If there's no Japan there, I dunno what to do.

No, still not doing anything.

NJ star or change the Regional and Language setting.

sLy - June 5, 2006 06:52 PM (GMT)
em.. maybe the forum itself must support japanese text ??

*off topic*
thanks swtazngal, i've downloaded the NJ star  now i can write and read hiragana :D but still don't know what it's meaning

All I have to do to read that 'garbage,' Reset, is to tell my browser to view the page in Japanese SHIFT_JIS encoding. Then it's fine. You can do this by either right clicking on the page or going to the view toolbar. Look for Character Encoding or 'View this page in' type labels. What browser are you using?

Reset - June 5, 2006 11:59 PM (GMT)
OMG, this is so stuip.
I should have know :blush
So when I hit the Add reply or the preview post buttom it reset my browser encoding.
So dum, where the hole I can hide :swt

Hey Reset, don't be so hard on yourself ok? Even I didn't know anything about this before! It's wise to ask for help when needed! ;)
